This is the agreement between you and NyxoEVENTS when you buy a ticket to Ghost Motor Show on Sunday 29 November 2026, and it forms part of the terms of use.
A ticket is a licence to attend — a revocable permission to be on the premises for the day, not a thing you own or a right to a particular spot.
1. Prices and releases
Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT. There are 2 450 tickets in total, split across 3 releases. Each release is capped — once it is sold out, it is sold out, and the next release's price applies.
| Release | Prices | Released |
|---|---|---|
| Early bird | Adults R99 · Kids · 12 and under R49 | 500 |
| General admission | Adults R119 · Kids · 12 and under R59 | 1 500 |
| VIP | VIP R450 · VIP kids · 12 and under R200 | 450 |
Parking is not included in a general admission or kids ticket. Public parking is R30 per car for the day on the Groote Schuur High School sports field — a short walk from the gate. It is not inside the venue grounds. VIP tickets include on-premises underground parking.
2. Where to buy
Buy through our ticketing partner at www.quicket.co.za/, or through our own box office at events.nyxo.co.za. These are 2 different systems with 2 different checkout processes.
Only buy from us or our partner. A ticket bought from a tout, a reseller or a stranger on social media may be fake, may already have been used, and will not be honoured. We are not obliged to let you in on a ticket we did not sell, and we will not refund one.
3. Delivery and e-tickets
Tickets are electronic. Once payment clears, the ticket is emailed to the address on the order, and it carries a code that is scanned once at the gate. Before you travel, check that the email arrived — including in your spam folder — and that the code is readable.
- A single scan, on entry. If your code has already been scanned, it will not scan again.
- A screenshot is fine, but the code must be crisp and undamaged. Print it if your phone battery is unreliable.
- Keep your order confirmation. It is what we use to reissue a ticket that will not scan.
- Do not post a photograph of your ticket, or its code, anywhere public.
4. Ages and who needs a ticket
A kids ticket covers children aged 12 and under. Children under 6 come in free and do not need a ticket. Everyone from 6 upwards needs a ticket of their own.
A kids ticket gets a child into everything an adult ticket does. A VIP kids ticket carries the VIP meal, drink and seating. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who holds a ticket, and we may ask for identification at the gate.
5. Entry and re-entry
Your ticket is scanned on the way in, at the Wicket lobby. The gate admits until 21:00, and the buildings close at 22:00.
Re-entry is not allowed once you have left the premises. If you need to go back to the car, speak to the gate marshal before you leave and we will do what we can.
Entry is subject to the event rules, including a bag search, and we may refuse entry or remove anyone who breaks them. A refusal or removal for misconduct is not a cancellation by us, and no refund is due.
6. Refunds, exchanges and cancellations
You may cancel a ticket and ask for a refund up to 7 days before the show, with no administration fee. Write to the box office you bought from, quoting your order reference. Refunds are paid to the card or account the ticket was bought with, within a reasonable time.
After that cut-off we do not refund because you can no longer attend, because you changed your mind, or because you did not check the date, the times or the route. We will, though, always look at a genuine emergency — a medical or a bereavement — and we will transfer your ticket to someone else if you ask us to before the gates open.
Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act applies to advance ticket bookings. If we cancel the show, you get a full refund of the ticket price. If we postpone it, you may keep your ticket for the new date or take a full refund; if the postponement runs beyond 30 days, or the show moves to a materially different venue, the default is a refund unless you tell us you want to keep the ticket.
7. Transfers, resale and touting
You may give your ticket to someone else, or sell it at no more than the price you paid, as long as you tell us before the gates open so the name on the order can be changed. Selling a ticket above face value, or advertising tickets for sale in a way that suggests you are a trader, is not allowed. We may cancel any ticket that is being resold above face value, without a refund, and refuse entry on it.
8. Access and companion tickets
Both buildings have level or ramped access and accessible WCs, and there is a drop-off point at the gate. If you need a companion to attend with you, write to the show office before you buy — we do not charge for a companion ticket where you need assistance, and we would rather arrange it in advance than at the gate. More detail is in the accessibility statement.
9. Lost, stolen or damaged tickets
Treat your ticket like cash. If it is lost or stolen, contact the box office you bought it from with your order reference and proof of payment as soon as you realise. We will reissue it where we can verify the order and where the code has not already been scanned. We cannot replace a ticket that has already been used, and we cannot refund one that was stolen from you through your own carelessness.
10. Payment problems and chargebacks
Payments are processed by our partners; we never see your card details. If a payment fails but your account was debited, or you were charged twice, write to us at info@ghostfest.co.za with the bank reference and we will sort it out. Please talk to us before you raise a chargeback — most of these are a payment that went through a second too late, and we fix them in a day.
If a chargeback is raised without contacting us and without a valid reason, we may cancel the tickets on that order.
11. What your ticket includes
- Every ticket
- Both buildings and all 4 themed halls, the schedule as published, and the traders onsite.
- VIP
- Everything a general admission ticket gets, plus a meal and a drink, priority queuing at the gate, a private seating area beside the music, and on-premises underground parking.
- Not included
- Public parking, food and drink beyond what a VIP ticket states, merchandise, and anything the exhibitors or traders sell.
12. Risk, property and liability at the event
You attend at your own risk. We take reasonable care to run a safe event, and we are liable for death or personal injury caused by our negligence — but we are not responsible for your personal property, so keep your phone, your bag and your keys on you. There is no cloakroom, so please travel light.
Motorsport and machinery are inherently risky. Obey the marshals and the barriers, and do not go past a rope.
