1. Who we are

The show is run and promoted by NyxoEVENTS, a trading name of ⚠️ Registered entity name, registration number ⚠️ 0000/000000/07 (VAT ⚠️ 4000000000), at ⚠️ Physical address, Cape Town, South Africa. Keyword Technology (Pty) Ltd (registration 2024/124630/07) is the sponsor.

"We", "us" and "the show" mean the promoter. "You" means the person using this website or attending the show. The venue, The Wicket — Newlands at Camp Ground Road, Newlands, is operated by the venue owner, not by us; the venue's own rules apply in addition to these.

2. The other documents that apply

This page is the umbrella. Depending on what you are doing, one of these also applies to you:

• Ticket terms and refunds — if you buy, hold or use a ticket.
• Event and venue rules — if you come onto the premises on the day.
• Exhibitor and trader terms — if you display a vehicle or take a stand.
• Privacy policy and cookie policy — whenever you use the site or give us your details.

If those documents conflict with this one, the more specific document wins for the subject it deals with.

3. Tickets and the show

Tickets are sold through our ticketing partner's listing at www.quicket.co.za/ and through our own box office at events.nyxo.co.za. The 2 routes are different systems. Conditions of sale, including refunds, transfers and what happens if the show is cancelled or postponed, are in the ticket terms and form part of these terms.

Doors open at 13:00 on Sunday 29 November 2026 and the show closes at 22:00. Times, the running order, the line-up and the floor plan may change. Material changes go on this website, and ticket holders are emailed.

4. Using this website

You may browse, read and share this website. You may not:

• copy, scrape, republish or resell the site or its content, in whole or in part, without our written permission;
• use the site to break any law, to send unsolicited marketing, or to submit anything false, misleading or unlawful through a form on it;
• interfere with the site, overload it, probe it for vulnerabilities without written authorisation, or bypass any rate limit or access control;
• frame the site, or present our content as your own, or suggest that we endorse you, a product or a business when we do not.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, including the mailing list and the forms.

5. Content, trade marks and photographs

The site's text, layout, drawings, floor plans, palette and code are ours or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright. The Ghost Motor Show name and the show's marks belong to us. Vehicle marques, model names and club names belong to their owners and appear here only to describe the cars on display — that does not imply any sponsorship or endorsement of the show by them, and we claim no rights in them.

If you send us a photograph, a logo or other material, you confirm you own it or have the right to send it, and you give us a free, non-exclusive licence to use it to promote the show, on this site and in our own channels, with your credit where you ask for one.

6. Links to other people’s services

This site links to services we do not control: our ticket partners, Google Maps, Instagram and TikTok. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. A link is not an endorsement of everything you find on the other side of it.

7. Mailing list, applications and submissions

Joining the mailing list, applying to exhibit, or sending us anything through a form does not create a contract and does not reserve a place, a bay or a ticket. Applications are considered by the selection panel and are accepted by written confirmation from us, and by payment of the rate for the slot.

You must give us accurate details. We handle the information you give us under the privacy policy.

8. Changes to the show

A live event depends on things nobody controls. We may change the running order, the layout, the entertainment, the traders, the buildings in use and the exhibitor list without notice, and we may add, move or remove a display. We will not materially reduce what a ticket covers without saying so.

If we have to postpone, relocate or cancel, we tell ticket holders and the mailing list as soon as we can, and the ticket terms set out your options. Our liability in those cases is limited to what those terms provide.

9. Liability

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful code, or that every detail — a time, a price, a measurement — is current at the moment you read it. Confirm anything you are relying on with the show office.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, for gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for loss of data.

You come onto the premises and display a vehicle at your own risk, and you indemnify us against claims arising from your own conduct, your vehicle or your stand, as set out in the event rules and the exhibitor terms.

10. Your rights as a consumer

Nothing here takes away the rights the Consumer Protection Act gives you. Advance-ticket bookings are protected by section 17 of that Act, which is what the refund provisions in the ticket terms are built on.

Write to us first at info@ghostfest.co.za — most complaints are answered in a day. If we cannot settle it, you can approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud on 0860 000 272 or info@cgso.org.za, and the National Consumer Commission on 012 428 7000.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here on the day governs, and the effective date at the top of the page changes when they do. Terms that were in force when you bought a ticket continue to apply to that ticket, except where a change is required by law or is to your benefit.
